Stan directed Arthur Miller’s The Crucible for Three River Theatre at the Earl Arts Centre, Launceston in August, 2009. The Launceston Examiner said:

Underneath the Lintel
Stan performed Glen Berger’s monodrama Underneath the Lintel (dir. Stuart Loone) for Three River Theatre and Centr Stage at the Annexe Theatre, Inveresk, in March, 2004. The show was reprised for Mudlark Theatre in August, 2007. The Launceston Examiner said:
‘…Stan Gottschalk holds our attention masterfully in this 1 1/4 hour New York play, skillfully directed by Stuart Loone…In this play Gottschalk transforms an obscure librarian into an epic hero whose journey leads us towards our own best dreams and highest ideals…’

Stan directed Michael Frayn’s Noises Off for Three River Theatre at the Earl Arts Centre, Launceston, in August, 2006. The Launceston Examiner said:
